It is about an hour long experience that includes a tour through the graveyard where spirits will tell the stories of their demise.

How long is the Extended Tour?

The Extended Tour is about 70 minutes. All 9:30pm tours are Extended Tours! The Extended Tour will require walking up and down multiple staircases. If you have difficulty navigating stairs and/or longer walks, please select a different tour time.

There is no parking onsite at Mill Hill Historic Park. Parking is located across the street. Please follow the blue signs to overflow parking. Please cross the street with caution and use the crosswalk!

Where do I Check In?

Everyone must check in at the Townhouse on site at Mill Hill. The Townhouse is the large brick building. You will receive a bracelet to wear during your tour.

We highly recommend that you purchase tickets IN ADVANCE! Tours sell out very quickly and we CAN NOT guarantee there will be tickets available at the door.

Are Tickets Refundable

All ticket purchases are non-refundable, except when the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the Norwalk Historical Society. No credit or refund is available if you do not show up; or if you leave an event early for any reason. No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.

Weather Policy

A Haunting at Mill Hill is a Rain or Shine event. If you decide not to attend, your tickets are non-refundable.

In the event or the prediction of dangerous weather such as lightening, strong winds, or heavy rain, the ghost stories will be told by the spirits INSIDE the Town House building on site at Mill Hill Historic Park. This is for your safety and the safety of our performers, staff and volunteers. In these circumstances, tickets are non-refundable.

If there is severe inclement weather, A Haunting at Mill Hill may be cancelled. The Norwalk Historical Society reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, presenter illness, or other circumstances. If the event is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund.

General Behavior Guidelines

While the actors performances and appearance may be frightening, there is a strict ‘No Touching’ policy that they have been trained to follow. Any visitors to this event are also expected to adhere to this No Touching rule. Any attendee that touches or is otherwise abusive to our actors, volunteers or staff will be asked to leave immediately. We also reserve the right to remove any visitors we judge to be disrespectful to the staff or property, intoxicated, or otherwise disruptive to the event. Anyone removed under these conditions is not eligible for a refund.
